1/3 Cell Project

1. Go over Cell Project Rubric to  understand the structure and function of cells that is to be incorporated into a 3D model or poster 
 

Both Cells:

cell membrane ,nucleus ,cytoplasm, vacuole, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, golgi bodies, mitochondrion, nucleolus, lysosome

Plant Cell only:

cell wall , chloroplast

2. Draw the structures of the plant in animal cell paying close attention to shape and size of the organelles on 26. Plant and Animal Cells

3. Sing along with "The Cell Song" to reinforce the structures and functions of the organelles in the cell

2.  Reading: Diversity of Life Resources p.27-30-Cell the Basic Unit of Life-Discuss differences between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cells and complete think questions in journal

3. Sing along with "The Cell Song" to reinforce the structures and functions of the organelles in the cell
