1. Demonstrate knowledge on a test: cell, nucleus, chromosome, allele, gene, genotype, phenotype, dominant, recessive, homozygous, heterozygous traits, features, variation, adaptations, punnett squares

Learning/Memory

1.Attempt a series of tasks in succession: visualizing, listening to sounds in the room, tapping fingers in specific order, counting backwards by 7's, recalling an event from the past, pinching self to use a good portion of the brain and then discuss what parts of the brain were used to perform these tasks

2. Discuss memory & first hand experiences- take notes:
Learning: The process of acquiring new knowledge and skills
Memory:
The process of retrieving knowledge and bits of information related to skills that are stored in the brain

Mirror Writing

1. Practice Mirror Writing to understand that the brain can be trained to learn a new way of doing things

2. Science Journal: Accident Report & Recall questions- students will observe an accident and then recall the events followed by a class discussion about which aspects of the event were the easiest to remember and why and how the brain can create false memories

5/12 Memory Tests

1. Continue Mirror Writing to understand that the brain can be trained to learn a new way of doing things

2. Science Journal: Memory Tests 1-5 & Memory Tests A & B and identify what type of learner the tests showed they are

3. Discover how individuals learn best through a series of memory tests
