| Your group is going into business- providing vacation tours
to the planet you discovered! To
bring in customers, you will need to prepare a travel movie in the form
of a movie to generate
interest.
Here are some guidelines for developing your
presentation.
·
Why would anyone want to visit your planet? Obtain complete and
up-to-date information about the statistics (Astronomer’s
Report-size, distance, etc.), features (Geologist’s
Report- craters, mountains, water, etc.), conditions (Meteorologists
Report- temperature, atmosphere, gravity, etc.), and historical points of
interest (Historian’s Report- mythology,
what recent probes and reconnaissance satellites have discovered, etc.)
·
Include accurate facts
in a creative/ humorous manner.
For example if you were to do a propose a visit to Saturn and you wanted
to get across that the winds can blow up to 1,800 km/hr then maybe propose hand
gliding activities to take advantage of the conditions.
·
Design a travel presentation with Frames.
What should people on your tour bring with them?
Swimming suits? Skis?
Use poems, illustrations, pictures to enhance your brochure.
Include the facts in a fun way. Provide
activities for your clients- remember it is a vacation for them.
Of course these activities will have to be presented in a creative/
humorous way!
·
What should a tourist pay for such an outrageous vacation, and
why? Figure out how much it will
cost to sign on for the adventure, and be prepared to explain the cost to
clients so that they will understand what they are paying for.
